I have coached athletes of all levels since 2016 in triathlon and running from beginners to competitive age-groupers, Clydesdale athletes, and a Kona qualifier. My education background is in teaching, so coaching is what I love to do. There is no better feeling than seeing an athlete achieve their goals.
I am a certified USAT coach, an IRONMAN Certified Coach, a USMS coach, and an RRCA coach.
I have competed in the sport of triathlon since 2014 and have done every distance from the sprint to the Ironman. I came to triathlon through running and my love of cross-training in the pool and on the bike. Having participated in sports all my life with high school and college soccer and competitive swimming in high school, triathlon is a natural fit.
I’m originally from Cleveland, OH, and I’ve lived all over the country and in Japan while teaching English during the time my my husband served in the Navy. I have a knack for starting over from nothing after moving nine times in twenty years. I am organized and can pack my suitcase or triathlon bag in minutes. Thankfully, Philadelphia is home now since 2016.
Together, we are strong. No one does anything alone, and as a coach, I’m here to guide you through the process of training for your triathlon, support you with one-on-one sessions, in person or virtually, and keep communication open. I take an athlete-centered approach to coaching as we work together to balance training with family and work obligations.
